FTP Troubleshooting

If you have trouble connecting via ftp, try changing to passive mode.

In filezilla you would need to take this path, Edit/Settings/FTP and then choose Passive (recommended).

In some countries, some ISPs (internet service provider) block the use of FTP. Try using FTP with a different ISP and see if this resolves the issue.

I would describe the information above as..
  • Useful
  • Unclear
  • Out of date

I have uploaded two batches via web upload. I am not not able to view them as ‘pending images’ on your web site. Where can I view them?

The way to see your pending images is by logging into the main site, in your Account find the link ‘Attach Releases’. Thumbnails of your images will gradually appear here. It could take 2 until 4 days for your images to appear here, depending on the size of the upload queue.

Ever though I have set “passive’ mode as recommended, I have trouble connecting via ftp. Please resolve.

Ftp credentials are not the same as your site login and password. You haven’t actually been given ftp credentials yet. I see that you just uploaded a batch via webpage upload. We’ll contact you to see if you still want ftp access.
